Fantasy Football Sleeper and Waiver Wire Watch Week 12

By: FantasyFootballGoat.com

Here are some waiver wire and sleeper picks for you to check out. There are a ton of guys on my list because I play in some deeper leagues. I need to look a little deeper than most.

I hope you guys grabbed a`few of the suggestions for the last few weeks. D.J. Hackett, Donald Lee, Chris Henry and Chester Taylor all had great games. Lets see what we can find this week.

May be available now…
**UPDATE** Nate Washington WR (PIT) - Santonio Holmes will miss some action this week and Washington could be a decent starter this Monday against Miami.

**UPDATE** Kolby Smith RB (KC) - Priest is calling it a career and LJ is still out. Best of all the Raider bad rush d is in town. Thanks for the heads up Joe.

**UPDATE** Vince Young QB (TEN) - Is it possible that he is laying around on your waiver wire? If so it may not be a bad idea to pick him up. He showed Monday night that he is beginning to step up his game with 300 yards and a TD passing and 74 yards and a TD rushing. If his receivers didn’t have all those drops, his night could’ve been even better. His schedule is solid too. His next three games are against weak passing defenses; Cincinnati, Houston and San Diego.

**UPDATE** Ahmad Bradshaw/Reuben Droughns RB (NYG) - Brandon Jacobs has a bad hammy and Derrick Ward has been battling injuries for a few weeks now. If they can’t go next week then Ahmad and Reuben are the next in line to take on the Vikes.

Santana Moss WR (WAS) - I put him on here because I saw him in free agent pool last week in a few leagues. Take a look at yours and see if he is there. He had a solid game with 9 for 121 and a touchdown against Dallas. Campbell seems to be coming into his own the last few weeks so if Moss can stay healthy he should be solid down the stretch.

Arizona Defense - Looking for a hot defense with a good match-up this week? Look no further than these guys. Six turnovers in two games against decent offenses and they get San Fransisco this week.

Kansas City Defense - They are playing well and get the Oakland Raiders at home next week. Jared Allen alone ought to be good for a few sacks and a turnover in that one.

Maurice Morris RB (SEA) - Just in case you aren’t paying attention he posted 87 yards and a TD. He looks better in the offense than Alexander did so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get a few more starts while Alexander heals.

Ron Dayne RB (HOU) - Ahman Green can’t stay healthy and someone has to run it. Dayne doesn’t do too bad and could be a decent RB2, RB3 or flex with the right match-up. 21 for 89 yesterday.

Drew Carter WR (CAR) - If Steve Smith continues to miss time perhaps Carter can offer some value. Vinnie looked to him often and he ended up with 5 for 132 and a touchdown.

Kyle Eckel/Heath Evans
RB (NE) - Kevin Faulk went out with an injury during the game. I don’t know much now but one of these guys could add a little depth on your bench. Never a bad thing having a running back from team that score 40+ points a game.

Chris Baker TE (NYJ) - Led the team in receptions with 4 for 34 plus a touchdown against the Steelers defense.

Devard Darling WR (BUF) Who knows what he will do next week but he sure had a breakout game against the Browns with with 4 catches for 107 yards and TD.

Ron Curry WR (OAK) - Started hot this year but faded. This week he jumps back onto the scene with 4 for 120. Good performance but I wouldn’t put a whole lot of stock in it at this time (see Culpepper).

Keep an eye on…
**UPDATE** Chris Baker TE (NYJ) - I was watching the reply of their game against the Steelers and he seemed to get quite a few looks. He had 4 catches for 34 yards and a TD. I almost feel like he could’ve had more.

A.J. Feeley QB (PHI) - Looks like Donovan sprained his ankle. Not sure how bad it is right now but if own McNabb, you might want to keep an eye on this situation.

Kyle Boller QB (BAL) - He was on the “in deep leagues only” last week but he’s creeped into the may be worth a roster spot category this week. After an awful start he had a decent second half and ended up with 279 yards and a touchdown.

Daunte Culpepper QB (OAK) - Granted every game isn’t going to be against secondaries like the Vikes but 244 and a touchdown isn’t to shabby.

Rex Grossman QB (CHI) - Didn’t look to bad on the road against a solid defense. He was 24/37 for 266. He didn’t score but led a few scoring drives and didn’t turn the ball over.

Brodie Croyle QB (KC) - Not bad with an efficient 19/27 for 169 and a touchdown performance on the road against the champs. Also, no turnovers.

As always I will be updating throughout the week if anyone jumps out at me. Also, I know many of you see things I don’t, feel free to throw down some of your thoughts below in the comments.
