Playoff Fantasy Football Sleeper and Waiver Wire Watch Week 15
Well here we are approaching the end of the season and you are still hangin’ in there. Chances are, if you’re in the play-offs, your team is already pretty solid but look the list over anyway.
The pickings are a little slim this week but ya never know this time of year, especially when some of the big teams start thinking about sitting guys to get them ready for the playoffs. Here’s what I could find this week. Let me know if I’m missing anyone.
May be available now…
Anthony Gonzalas WR (IND) - Since we really don’t know when Marvin is coming back, you might want to take a look at Gonzalas. With his 6 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdown performance against the Ravens, he now has two 100 yard games in three weeks.
Darius Walker RB (HOU) - The latest back to take a turn in the Texans backfield rushed for 46 yards and caught 6 catches for 35 yards. Might be decent in a RB3 role the remainder of the season if they roll with him. He has Denver next week followed by Indy and Jacksonville. Denver is iffy against the run and who knows if Indy and Jacksonville will be playing everyone or prepping for the playoffs.
Samkon Gado RB (MIA) - This pretty much all depends on the status of Chatman but he may be serviceable as a RB3. He had 53 yards on 12 carries with 2 TD’s and 2 catches for 41 yards against the Bills.
Reggie Williams WR (JAC) - He has four touchdowns in his last six games and this week he caught 5 for 90. The Jags passing game has been serviceable lately and he could be a nice WR3 in a pinch.
Todd Collins QB (WAS) - He will be at the controls for the rest of the year. he gets the Giants next week, Minnesota and then Dallas. He’s available but it may not matter at this point.
Brian GreiseKyle Orton QB (CHI) - Rex will be out for awhile and we’ve seen that Griese can hold his own we don’t know if Orton can hold his own. If you are “really” desperate for a QB, he is your man. Min, Green Bay ad New Orleans left on the schedule.
Keep an eye on…
Luke McCown QB (TB) - If the Buc’s continue to let Garcia heal up for the playoffs McCown could be a decent play in the coming weeks with games against Atlanta, San Fransisco and Carolina left on the schedule.
Jereme Urban WR (ARI) - Not sure what happened to Bryant Johnson in this game but Urban took up the slack left by an absent Boldin. 6 catches for 123 and a touchdown. If Boldin misses more time this guy might have some value with good match ups against New Orleans, Atlanta and St. Louis left on the schedule.
Notable performances…
Derek Hagan WR (MIA) - I recommended him about three weeks ago and he disappeared. Today I will just mention him. He had 8 catches for 93 yards.
Robert Royal TE (BUF) - Posted 46 yards and 2 touchdowns. This week he plays Cleveland.
A few other resources you should check out are Fantasy Football Librarians waiver wire report and the Bruno Boys week 14 waiver wire report
As always I will be updating throughout the week if anyone jumps out at me. Also, I know many of you see things I don’t, feel free to throw down some of your thoughts below in the comments.

Poker sites for US players are somewhat hard to come by these days. Aside from the big ones, PokerStars and Full Tilt, mainly smaller, fairly unknown sites are available to Americans. It s a good idea to read a poker room review before you sign up with a site you don t know very much about.
