-Marcus Banks is apparently back in the Suns rotation, scroing 23 points (including seven 3’s) Monday against Nuggets. He has played 39 minutes in the past two games, so it’s too early to recommend picking him up, but if he can get that up to about 30 minutes a game he will be a fantastic pickup. Keep an eye on him.

-Michael Finley played 41 minutes last night, scoring 14 points and hitting three 3-pointers. This looks like it’s going to be the typical production from Finley now that Ginobili is back, so if you can trade him now would be the time.

-Randy Foye has been cleared to practice again, but no word yet on when the second-year guard will return to game action. If Foye can get back to close to 100 percent health this year, he will be a hot free agent (but that’s a big if). In 10 games last April, Foye averaged 15.4 ppg, 3.8 apg and shot 50 percent (19-38) from three-point range.

-Brevin Knight is hurt, but is still available to play. Despite starting 17 games this season, Knight is only averaging 5.1 ppg and 4.6 apg, well off his 12.6 ppg and 8.8 apg of only two years ago. While this injury may give more playing time to Sammy Alien and Cat Mobley, neither of them has been consistent enough to warrant a spot on your fantasy team.

-For those of you in post-season fantasy football leagues, T.O. is a game-time decision for the Cowboys game with the Giants this Sunday. There’s probably no way he misses this game, but how effective he will be is the real question. This news certainly makes Jason Whitten a more attractive play this weekend.

-The Rockies have a new second baseman, former Padre Marcus Giles. But before you pencil Giles in for a .300, 20 HR Coors-aided season, keep in mind he hit .229 with only 4 HR last season. At best, he’s depth for your team.
