-Grant Hill will be out 2-3 weeks for the Suns after undergoing an appendectomy on Wednesday. Head coach Mike D’Antoni has a reputation for small rotations, and he justified that against the Pacers yesterday by only playing 8 players in the Suns overtime victory. Boris Diaw (41 minutes, 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists) looks like he will be the main beneficiary of Hill’s injury, but Diaw’s lack of scoring ability make him a frustrating fantasy option.
-Speaking of the Suns, Steve Nash didn’t travel with the team to Utah after last night’s victory because of the flu. He may still play.
-Both Ray Allen and Big Baby Davis are expected to return to the Celtics for Friday’s game with the Nets.
-T.J. Ford has been cleared to return to workouts after this nasty neck injury he suffered. Ford’s a great guy to have on your fantasy team, especially with his FG% up to 48.7% this year, but make sure you have insurance. And Jose Calderon owners shouldn’t worry yet, the Raptors still have no idea when Ford will return.
-Your fantasy sports day doesn’t really start until you get that all important Terrell Owens injury update, so here it is.
