FSR Daily
-Good story here from ESPN.com’s Keith Lipscomb breaking down this year’s rookie class and their fantasy impact. As the season wears on, be sure you keep an eye on the younger players as their minutes tend to rise.
-Apparently yesterday was ‘Make my Most Disappointing Players list look ridiculous day.’ The Bulls Kirk Hinrich dropped a career-high 38 points, adding 10 assists and 7 rebounds, while Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and had 7 assists. You’re welcome guys.
-A big reason for Hinrich’s outburst is the Bulls injury situations. Chris Duhon, Luol Deng and Ben Gordon all missed last nights game. Deng could miss up to three weeksbecause of continued Achilles problems, while Benny Bull is questionablefor the Bulls game on Friday. We’ll skip Duhon’s injury report because as a fantasy owner, you should always skip right past Duhon.
-The Mavs Jerry Stackouse left Wednesday’s game against Charlotte because of a strained hamstring and told the Dallas Morning News he was ‘not optimistic’ about playing on Friday. Stack still provides enough scoring to help your fantasy team when he plays enough, but he’s only averaging 24 minutes a game this year and doesn’t help enough in other categories.
-Warrick Dunn owners have been waiting for this day for 10 years–the touchdown vulture has officially retired.
