-The Santana to the Mets deal isn’t finalized yet, but it seems imminent. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Johan will win a lot of games in the NL with a really low ERA. The only hold up is the Mets and Santana agreeing to a contract extension.
-Timberwolves guard Randy Foye returned to game action yesterday, his first this year. Foye played 17 minutes and scored 11 points, output that should be typical of him for a couple of weeks at least. As long as everything goes okay, you’d have to think the number seven pick in the ‘06 draft will be starting by the end of the year.
-Tony Parker has been sent back to San Antonio to heal a bone spur in his heel. No word yet on how long he’ll be out, but Jacque Vaughn will be replacing him in the starting lineup. While Vaughn is not a fantasy option, fellow guard Michael Finley may see a boost in minutes and fantasy value.
-Caron Butler missed the Wizards game on Tuesday with the Raptors because of a strained left hip flexor. Andray Blatche replaced him and played very well, scoring 19 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Blatche has played well all year when he’s gotten minutes, but he’s only averaging 18.5 per game. If the Butler injury continues to cause problems, Blatche will be a great fantasy pickup.
-Tracy McGrady missed the Rockets game last night, but don’t worry it’s just a flu, not a knee.

Poker sites for US players are somewhat hard to come by these days. Aside from the big ones, PokerStars and Full Tilt, mainly smaller, fairly unknown sites are available to Americans. It s a good idea to read a poker room review before you sign up with a site you don t know very much about.
