-Pau Gasol will make his Laker debut tonight against the Nets and is expected to be in the starting lineup. Gasol was available for Los Angeles’ game on Sunday, but coach Phil Jackson elected to give him an extra day of rest. Gasol missed three of his last four games with Memphis because of a sore back.
-T.J. Ford is back with the Toronto Raptors after missing 24 games due to an arm injury. Ford played only 18 minutes and it appears that for now, Jose Calderon will get the majority of minutes at point guard.
-The Stromille Swift-Jason Collins trade is official. While Collins is fantasy poison, Swift could be an option at center as long as he gets enough minutes. In four starts this season, Swift is averaging 12 ppg and 5.3 rpg.
-Juan Gonzalez is attempting a comeback with the St. Louis Cardinals. Juan Gone is now 38 and hasn’t played in the majors since 2005, so it’s doubtful he’ll have any fantasy impact.
